Our original objective was to develop an ID system which is reasonable in price, easy to apply and which has good remote readout capabilities, especially in liquids.
The first version of the passive ID-tags, which are based on acoustic resonance, consisted of thin, nominally 500 nm thick silicon nitride membranes suspended over separate evacuated cavities, made by bulk silicon micromachining, whereas the second generation tags are much smaller and simpler to manufacture. This production technology is well suited for accurate high volume production at low cost. See Projects.
The ID system has been granted patents in several countries.
Identification of fish or other objects in liquids.
We may supply several thousands of different ID-tags to be handled at high automation level. Each tag with the same ID may be manufactured in large series if applied to objects with common classification. Considering the moderate tagging and operational costs this method may be a good alternative where others do not comply with the requirements. Ultrasound works very well in water and has special advantages in salt water compared to for example radio signals.
In order to qualify the system for use in the industry the tag has been redesigned and miniaturized. The second generation tag is a square chip 1,5 x 1,5 mm2, 0,4 mm thich.
CR - Remote release
The company has developed a system for remotely operated delivery of substances, an innovation which was awarded the 1st price at the Birkeland Innovasjon contest 2009. The opening of a capsule by means of a precisely tuned acoustic signal has been successfully tested in laboratory (2011).

Renewable energy educational kits
The purpose of the small construction sets is to help pupils/students comprehend physics and technology by active cooperation in groups of 2-4, under guidance of a teacher. The pupil/student will also learn to understand and follow a systematic and detailed instruction manual in English.
We regard solar energy exploitation as a future winner in the energy market, even here up north. The Sunniva system is a very simple construction. It just converts sun heat to warm air which is sucked inside at a raised pressure, reducing ambient moisture level at a very low cost.
Delivered effect up to 1400 W. The influence on the indoor climate is better than what is achieved using an electric heater, because it also adds a ventilation advantage.
Innovations from the company WaveGas Ltd has been taken over by WaveGas AS as per January 2014 - and will be given increased attention in the future, due to satisfactory results from tests performed at IMT/UMB in 2013.
